The hotel building was built by the Ottomans, It is a mansion with a gorgeous garden, belonging to the famous chief treasurer Cenderecizade Muhyiddin Çelebi (1434-1492), who lived in the Fatih(Conqueror) and II. Beyazid period, and consists of four floors. There is also a historical 'cistern' from the Byzantine period under the back courtyard of the building.
